MINISTER OF DEFENSE and Deputy Prime Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic says that former Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor is saying what the authorities in that country think, not only about Aleksandar Vucic as president, but also about Serbia.

Commenting on Kosor’s interview with Danas, Stefanović states that in it she “clearly exposes the essence of Croatia’s policy towards Serbia, which means that, just as she herself says, Serbia was good to Croatia only when it was weak, when it came to apologize and for everything for which she is not responsible and guilty, even when she was incomparably economically, politically, and even militarily, weaker than Croatia “.
And why did such a Serbia suit them, Stefanović asks and adds that it is quite clear.
– Because it could not attract investors and compete with Croatia, much less to catch up and win it the way it can today. Serbia, which is today a champion in this part of Europe in terms of attracting investments, economic growth, vaccination, construction of hospitals and road infrastructure and development, Serbia whose president is a man recognized in the world as a regional leader, because he advocates not only declarative regional cooperation is being implemented in reality, and Serbia, whose political reputation, under the leadership of Vučić, is growing evenly, continuously and persistently in the international community from year to year, is not in line with Croatia, nor will it ever be. Such “well-meaning” people no longer praise her or pat her on the shoulder, but that is why she is good to her own people.
And when we are talking about our own people, I would like to remind you that Croatia is a country that even today tries in every possible way to escape from its Ustasha crimes, and which it is often proud of and glorifies. We are talking about a country that was the only one in Europe to have special concentration camps for children in the Second World War. Not even Nazi Germany, of which Croatia was a vassal, had them. We are also talking about a country that expelled more than 250,000 Serbs, its own citizens, from the centuries-old hearths in “Storm” because they did not fit into the ethnically pure image of Croatia. A country that certainly never had a leadership ready to face its own Such a lesson is taught to Serbia today.
First of all, they cannot forgive the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, for the fact that Serbia is more successful than Croatia today. And I have no illusions that these are European Union issues and some lessons from democracy or anything like that. This is the most common envy, because Serbia today can do more than Croatia. And it is obvious that the Croatian establishment is saying that through the mouths of Jadranka Kosor and the like, when they will not say it themselves. Also, it is not surprising that these types of poison darts were fired right now, when Serbia continues to strengthen and prosper economically, but it is not surprising that they were published in Djilas’s list. Since Djilas and others from the opposition must not attack Vučić and their people on their own in the topics mentioned by Kosor, because they know that the Serbian people will not look at them favorably, they are glad to see their friends from the region say that. Especially since for years they have not offered the citizens of our country any program or plan that would guarantee a better life. And all in all, it’s just simple, naked hatred.
Unlike them, Aleksandar Vučić is a statesman who will continue with the policy of building a better life for the citizens of Serbia and a country that knows how to defend its dignity and the interests of its people, but also to cooperate and rejoice in the progress of all neighbors in the region – said Nebojsa Stefanović.
