– IF the vaccine worked, no additional doses would be needed – the anti-vaccine theory repeated a hundred times becomes a lie when you look at how many successful vaccines are given in multiple doses.

Almir Aljović, a doctoral student at the Institute of Neuroimmunology in Munich, pointed this out, Blic writes.
The latest wave of the corona in Western Europe, due to which the Netherlands and Austria have already introduced quarantine, and many are reconsidering restrictive measures despite the relatively high vaccination rate, has led anti-vaccineers around the world to claim that vaccines are experimental or, popularly speaking , not to work.
However, the fact is that the western countries that are facing a strong wave of the corona started the vaccination with the third dose late, because it turned out that the effect of the vaccine expires after a maximum of six months. That additional, booster dose, of course, was again the reason for the anti-vaccines to claim that the vaccines were not valid.
“Imagine you’re a doctor and you say vaccines don’t work.”
Worst of all, there are doctors who share that opinion. A young scientist from Munich, Almir Aljović, addressed them on Twitter.
– Imagine you are a doctor and say “that the vaccine does not need additional doses”. Vaccines: Hepatitis B – three doses, Rotavirus – three doses, DtaP – five doses in some countries, Hib – 3/4 doses, Pneumococcus – 4 doses, Polio – 3 doses, Influenza – annually – wrote Aljović.
The cervical vaccine is given in three doses
Epidemiologist Tomislav Radulović confirms that the fight against the virus in two or more doses of vaccines is not new. As he says, in the USA and Western Europe, children are given at least one more vaccine than in our country.
– It is, above all, a vaccine against the human papilloma virus, which in 98% of cases causes cervical cancer. Girls between the ages of seven and nine receive this vaccine in two doses, and older people in three – Radulović emphasizes.
As he says, vaccines are given in several doses in order to achieve the right effect.
– Sufficient immunity is not achieved with these single-dose vaccines. When it comes to covid vaccines, there is every chance that they will be given every six months as they have been shown to be so effective. It’s similar to you for the flu. It’s just that the flu is seasonal, and the corona is present throughout the year – Radulović points out, and adds that new vaccines will probably be made with the appearance of the new strain.
