It is the obligation of us doctors not to give people false hope or to relax too much because we as doctors cannot relax when we have 50 dead a day and no one guarantees us that this is the last wave and that the next one will not come – said the Minister of Health Zlatibor Potter for RTS.

The number of vaccinated has increased, but it is necessary to work on increasing the scope of vaccination.
– The number of vaccinated has increased and it is simply our obligation to do everything to increase the scope of vaccination, so that is the essence of everything. No one made that decision with passes for some reason, but people saw that it was the only way to increase the number of vaccinated. It happened to us. We also had a result as a consequence of the extension of the holidays – the number of sick children and the number of examinations decreased by five times – the Minister stated, and “Blic” reported.
When asked how many deceased people have been vaccinated, he answered that according to the preliminary results for the previous five months, there are slightly less than nine percent of those who have been vaccinated.
– These are the ones who received one dose, or another dose, so they got sick after two or three days, and these are mostly people who have had other diseases – said Lončar.
Asked whether it is realistic to introduce a 24-hour pass, he answered that it will be discussed at the Crisis Staff.
– We will talk about that at the Crisis Staff, it is not correct for us to talk here now and that makes no sense. When the Crisis Staff is scheduled, we will analyze the current situation. It’s not about kovid passes, it’s about wanting a safe atmosphere and safe facilities for everyone. And right now, the only thing that makes it possible are those passes. The pass is either you have been vaccinated or you have been tested – Lončar notes.
