These light phenomena, which can be found in strongly developed thunder clouds, certainly cause admiration, but they are also very difficult to notice or record, writes Dalmacija today.
The reason is that they are extremely short and can only be shot by an experienced photographer. Unlike, for example, lightning, these phenomena occur hundreds of kilometers away from the observer, so meteorological knowledge is needed to be able to predict where to photograph them, where to direct the photo equipment and when.
– From the Star Village of Mosor, an observatory in Croatia located 500 km from the point of impact, the perspective is phenomenal. Everything is happening above the city of Split, it seems like a scene from another world – said the Frenchman.
This is not the first time that the Wind has painted celestial phenomena. At one time, he filmed a phenomenon happening above the stormy sky over Italy from the terrace of the Mosor Observatory.
