MINISTER Branislav Nedimović and the Provincial Secretary for Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Cedomir Božić, visited today the household of Milan Stojadinović in the village of Dupljaja in Bela Crkva, where other locals and representatives of the local self-government gathered.
This household was chosen to host the gathering, because the owners cultivate 200 acres of land, and they are also engaged in cattle breeding – they have about 100 sheep. They are also a successful example of how to use the competitions of the relevant ministry and the secretariat, because in that way they have so far bought a mower, a sprayer and a manure spreader.
– Our mission is clearly focused on the improvement of agriculture in every part of our country, which we will do by awarding subsidies to every farmer who has a vision of agricultural development policy. In the next year, we will have an 18 percent higher budget, and already with the first measure, which will start on December 15, a 50 percent return of funds for the purchase of agricultural machinery is planned – said Nedimović.
He also told the locals that he would deal with the issue of pastures there, which were leased for field production, and how to solve the problem of grazing cattle.
