MANY are already preparing for skiing, and the ski centers are almost ready. The seasons will start opening in the first week of December, and in about a month at the latest.

However, everyone who comes to the ski centers should know that due to the corona pandemic virus, all epidemiological measures prescribed by the Crisis Staff and the Government of the Republic of Serbia will be implemented this season, as well as the previous ones, “Blic” writes.
– The stewards of the Ski Resort of Serbia will control the wearing of protective masks, ie ski bandanas, this season as well, and the introductions and protective fences will ensure the order and social distance of the users. These measures were applied during the last season as well, when entering the cable car or gondola, where the capacity was reduced by half. Mandatory disinfection is performed on all installations, as well as disinfection of the gondola cabin. The stewards had the authority to, if the skier or border guard does not want to follow the prescribed measures, first warn the user, remove him from the line for the cable car, and then take away the ski pass if he still refuses to cooperate. Authorized persons distributed masks, ie ski bandanas, free of charge to each user who did not have protection. During this winter season, the ski resorts of Serbia will control the implementation and compliance with the valid measures for the suppression of the Covid19 pandemic – they say from the ski resort.
This year’s ski season will be officially opened on Kopaonik from December 9 to 12, and after white sports fans try out the trails of this mountain beauty, a few days later they will be able to do so on Stara Planina and Tornik. According to the plan of the Ski Resort of Serbia, the season should start on Stara Planina in the period from December 17 to 19, and on Tornik from December 24 to 26.
Strict rules for going skiing
What is important to know is that this ski season in these three centers will be in operation 58 trails, most of which on Kopaonik where skiers will be able to use as many as 43. On this mountain, skiers should not worry even if there will be no snow because the system for artificial snow has been expanded at the location Bela reka 1- Bela reka 2 – Ledenice, in the length of 5 km. A connection for the continuation of the system towards the future trail Bela reka 3 is also planned.
In addition, for the winter season, the accompanying facilities at the exit station of the Brzeće-Mali Karaman gondola are being completed, ie the restaurant and the facility for accommodating the accompanying facilities of the ski resort. At the same time, those tourists who have a deeper pocket, can come to this mountain beauty by helicopter this season and will have a place to land because the heliport, which is part of the “Kopaonik Garage” project, has been completed.
As of this season, Ski Resorts of Serbia have introduced certain novelties in the categories of ski passes, so everyone who wants to go skiing more than once during the season will be able to buy a ticket 20 in the season and arrange their days as they see fit. We also offer special tickets that include night skiing, and a completely new category of “baby” tickets has been introduced, which is intended for children up to 5 years of age.
