The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, announced that a session of the Crisis Staff will be held this week, at which it will be discussed whether the introduction of new measures is necessary.

After the meeting with the representatives of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Serbia (SSSS), she stated that it is extremely important to find a balance between the safe situation and the economy, taking into account the mental health of the nation.
– People have to do something so that they can live and have something to eat, to keep their jobs, but also to pay me for all the most modern medicines, so that we can protect the lives of our citizens in the best possible way. – the Prime Minister pointed out.
When asked by journalists whether the introduction of covid passes for 24 hours in Serbia is delayed for political reasons, the Prime Minister pointed out that decisions are not made now, as before, on the basis of political calculations. She added that the mental health of the nation is also taken into account when making decisions, considering that there was an “increase in depression, aggression, murders and suicides” during the pandemic.
– I am glad that we are not a hotbed in Europe now and that we have a calming situation, as we enter the most difficult months, December and January, with, it seems to me, an increasingly stable epidemiological situation – said Brnabić.
