In SVRLJIG, we are continuing investments in communal infrastructure and environmental projects, which are an absolute priority in the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure and the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Minister Momirović pointed out at today’s opening of works within the “Clean Serbia” project in Svljig.

In the municipality of Svrljig, within the project “Clean Serbia”, 6,040 meters of sewerage network and one wastewater treatment plant will be built, which will include 7,000 inhabitants.
– Here today, we are starting works on the sewerage infrastructure, we are performing six and a half kilometers, and then we will build a wastewater treatment plant so that Svrljig gets a chance to have its communal infrastructure as a developed country in Central Europe. When we install the sewerage infrastructure, we will make new asphalt, which is another small step in order to raise Svrljig in every sense with the standard of living for their citizens – said Momirović.
The president of the municipality of Svrljig, Miroslav Markovic, pointed out that the beginning of the “Clean Serbia” project in Svljig is an indicator of the policy of equal development of Serbia, in which no differences are made between larger and smaller projects, as well as local governments.
– We are a municipality that wants to work on the development of tourism. With this factory, we are improving the protection of the environment to the highest level, which Svrljig has been trying to do for decades – said Markovic.
The deadline for completion of works is a maximum of 39 months, including trial work. The total value of the project in Svrljig is 4,518,967 euros.
