MEPS of the Assembly of Serbia adopted the budget for 2022 tonight. 203 deputies voted for the adoption of the Budget Law, and one deputy abstained.

The planned total budget revenues amount to 1.517 billion dinars, and expenditures to 1.717 billion dinars. The projected deficit for next year is three percent, and the public debt is 53.8 percent of GDP.
Prime Minister Ana Brnabić said in the parliament today that the budget for 2022 will improve the quality of life of citizens, since increases in pensions and salaries in the public sector are planned, as well as larger capital investments.
She specified that salaries in the public sector will be higher by eight percent in health care and the army, and seven percent for other areas in the public sector.
From January 1 next year, the minimum price of salary will be higher and will amount to 35,012 dinars.
According to the Swiss formula, pensions will be higher by 5.5 percent.
The Minister of Finance, Siniša Mali, said earlier that the budget for 2022 has two basic goals, the first is to raise the living standard of citizens, and the second is to further strengthen our economy.
Mali pointed out that these two goals are the basic goals of our economic policy, which is why, he added, this policy will continue in 2022.
He pointed out that next year it is planned to allocate 486 billion dinars from the budget for capital investments, adding that it is money for highways, expressways, the National Stadium, a factory for the production of vaccines, the completion of the Clinical Center of Serbia, construction and reconstruction of many schools. kindergarten …
