The delivery of the decision on the tax on registered weapons for this year is in progress, and all of them will be handed over to the post office on December 1, the Tax Administration of Serbia announced today.
Decisions on this tax will be considered delivered on the 15th day from the day of delivery to the post office, ie on December 16.
The deadline for paying the weapons tax is 15 days from the day of delivery of the decision.
The tax for personal security weapons for which a weapon certificate for holding a weapon has been issued, ie a collector’s permit amounts to 3,790 dinars, and if a carrying permit has been issued in addition – 18,870 dinars.
The tax for an automatic rifle is 13,960 dinars, and for a semi-automatic 5,600 dinars.
The taxpayer of the tax on weapons is the person to whom the weapon certificate, ie the collector’s license, as well as the license for carrying a weapon.
The Tax Administration determines this tax on the basis of data submitted by the Ministry of the Interior.
The Ministry of the Interior issues an armed certificate for possession, ie a collector’s permit, as well as a permit for carrying a weapon.
The tax on registered weapons is paid in an annual amount for each piece of weapon.
