As Ljiljana Pavlović (pictured) told us, when she came to withdraw the money, she was asked at the counter to take off her hat because it was forbidden to enter the bank with a hat on her head.
– I first asked her when the bank decides on my dress code, so I don’t have a phantom on my head, but a hat. Then the clerk told me that it was because of the identification – Pavlović’s story.
Then, she says, she lowered her protective mask and didn’t even have glasses, but that wasn’t enough for the officers.
– How removing the hat will help identification is not clear to me. Will he identify me by my tousled, gray hair? The angry clerk threw the card at the counter, and called the security guard. He asked me, imagine, if I had a health problem. He still scared me that he would call the police – claims the pensioner.
She says that she should have withdrawn Canadian dollars, which they did not have in the bank, so they scheduled her payment for Friday:
– They asked me to promise them that I would come without a hat. I don’t want to be a sheep who is determined in the bank what to have on his head. They will have to identify me as the law provides.
