Rade Cvijetić from Gornjomalska Street in Leštane, which is about 400 meters as the crow flies from the factory, says that he was in the yard yesterday at the time of the explosion.

– There was a terrible explosion, then a few more. First, I took shelter at the other end of the yard and started to drive the car into the garage. The detonation shattered the windows of several of my windows. Today I clean my heart and took down three windows that were broken.

– At the time of the explosion, I was sitting on the couch, resting and reading the news on the phone. When it exploded, I thought we were being bombed. It wasn’t like that in 1999 either! The ceiling in two rooms fell on me, parts flew in and broke through the roof – says Zorica Srećković, the owner of the house into which a piece of concrete flew in and pierced the roof on one side and flew out on the other side.
