DUE to the health and financial shock during the pandemic, the financial sector, and even the insurance sector, divided the fate of the people. The biggest goal of the state was to preserve the health of both people and the economy.

NBS Governor Jorgovanka Tabaković said this yesterday during the opening of the fifth “Serbian Insurance Days”.
– Liquidity and solvency of insurance companies have been preserved and stable development of the insurance market has been achieved – said Tabaković. – For the first three quarters of this year, a positive economic net growth of 6.7 billion dinars was achieved. The total premium for the three quarters of this year increased by 9.7 percent, to 88.6 billion dinars, compared to the same period last year.
This growth rate is higher than the average rate for the same period in the previous ten years. According to the governor, the balance amount of the insurance sector increased by 6.7 percent, to 334.14 billion dinars.
– The capital is higher by 4.9 percent, and reached 68.4 billion dinars. Technical reserves increased by 6.3 percent, reaching 221.6 billion dinars – said Tabaković. – Looking at the types of insurance, the growth of premiums was achieved by 17 types of insurance, including travel assistance. The largest continuous growth is recorded in property insurance, life insurance and voluntary health insurance.
