MINISTER OF FINANCE in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Siniša Mali, met today with the Director of the World Bank Office in Belgrade, Nikola Pontar, with whom he discussed the framework for cooperation with Serbia (CPF) from 2022 to 2026.
It was said at the meeting that the new framework envisages the allocation of 1.2 billion dollars for Serbia.
The co-operation framework envisions strengthening the macro-fiscal framework for greener growth, green investment and the transition to a low-carbon economy, as well as improving the business environment and regional integration.
The goal is to strengthen public finances at the central and local levels, as well as better access to quality health and education services for the vulnerable.
Minister Mali reminded that the framework for cooperation is being harmonized with the World Bank for five years, which gives guidelines on what will be worked on in the next period, as well as that the previous CPF lasted from 2016 to this year.
He thanked the World Bank for its support, assessing that Serbia has good cooperation with that international institution.
