They say that childhood is the most beautiful period in a person’s life. The time when we have the least worries, the time when the first friendships, the first loves are born. An age when everything is carefree and easy, an age when others take care of us, when they teach us true values. Kids from preschool institutions and primary schools throughout Serbia, showed what it means to be a true friend and passed the most important life exam – empathy and humanity, and that was also the goal of this humanitarian project.
On the occasion of marking 30 years of work and making a humanitarian calendar, Roma Company organized an art competition called “Drawing to Happiness”, in which preschool children and elementary school students from all over Serbia had the right to participate. With a noble gesture and creative approach of children throughout Serbia, thousands of drawings were collected. For each received drawing, Roma Company donated a symbolic amount of 100 RSD and thus provided the total amount of 463,000 dinars necessary for the purchase of the Cough assist device for Lena Janković, who suffers from a rare form of spinal muscular dystrophy.

– We are very happy and satisfied that our youngest ones recognized the importance of this action and responded in a noble and creative way in large numbers. We are proud of the fact that our Humanitarian Competition was supported by over 60 institutions throughout Serbia. This way we would like to thank our children, their parents, educators, teachers, professors, for the incredible spirit and enthusiasm that proved to be a hope in achieving someone’s happiness – she said Jelena Andjelkovic, Communications Manager at Roma Company.
