In Montenegro, the obligatory possession of the National Digital Certificate in public administration has been postponed until the final statement of the Ministry of Justice on the legal basis of such a decision, Minister of Health Jelena Borovinić-Bojović announced today.
State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice Boris Marić said that the issue of affirmation of human rights and freedoms is in question, and that inter-ministerial cooperation is needed.
– We are all on the same task, respecting the Constitution is our primary task. That is why we are careful with the introduction of covid certificates in the public administration, although many indicators indicate that there is a need for that – said Marić at the joint press conference.
He said they could not give a positive opinion for the introduction of more radical measures, such as covid certificates for public administration.
Apart from entering Montenegro, staying inside catering facilities, attending all cultural and sports events – both outdoors and indoors, the National Digital Kovid certificate should be a condition for entering children’s playrooms, religious facilities, gyms, cinemas. , theaters and concert halls.
– The ban on New Year’s concerts was passed earlier and remains in force. However, for the New Year’s Eve, December 31 and January 1, as well as during the Christmas holidays on December 24 and 25 and during January 6 and 7, the time limit for the work of catering facilities until midnight does not apply – said the Minister.
The director of the Institute of Public Health (IPH), Igor Galic, said that the number of newly infected with the virus in Montenegro in the last two weeks was about 22 percent lower than 14 days earlier.
