In the past year and a half, MORE than 700 agricultural and food products have received the prestigious label of domestic origin and top quality Cuvarkuća, which is awarded within the project “Created in Serbia” by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
Organized by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, at the 15th Fair of Ethno Food and Drinks in Belgrade, small producers who won the Čuvarkuć trademark presented themselves, whose products meet the strictest regulations. At the stand of PKS “Čuvarkuća”, visitors had the opportunity to see the quality of home-made food, milk, cheese, yogurt and sour cream, honey, beer and brandy, juices and jams, cakes, and other products made exclusively from raw materials from our country.
Aleksandar Bogunović, Secretary of the Association for Plant Production and Food Industry of PKS, invited all producers whose products are made in Serbia from domestic raw materials, to apply for the Čuvarkuć trademark via the PKS website.
– Considering that Serbia is a country of healthy food, and we produce it more than our needs, PKS will in the next period promote Cuvarkuće abroad so that the products created in our country can be positioned on the international markets – said Bogunović.
Nenad Budimović, Secretary of the Association for Livestock and Processing of Livestock Products PKS, stated that in addition to raw materials that must be of domestic origin, the entire production process must also be in Serbia.
– The guard house gives additional wind in the back to small producers to be more visible on the market – Budimović said and stated that 75% of the value spent on one product, such as production of raw materials, salaries, taxes, remains in Serbia, which strengthens the domestic economy.
