Ana visited Mrkonjić every day in the hospital in his last days.
In due time, Ana discovered that her son Igor, when he is married to keyboardist Aleksandar Savić, respects her partner more than his father.
– My son doesn’t like to be exposed and we can hardly make him come to an event with us, he just doesn’t like the media. Milutin and Igor get along great. Igor respects Milutin more than his father – said Bekuta.
Bekuta then stated that she did not plan to stand in front of the altar for the second time.
– I still stand by the position that paper means nothing to us. That would not change anything in my and Milutin’s relationship, it could only complicate things. Maybe someone will criticize us for that. Well, they will say that we are not serious, that we do not respect the institution of marriage, but we are serious people who have gone through marriages. We have children, grandchildren, and we want to live the way we want. I have found my soulmate and I don’t care what others say.
I am glad that Milutin takes care of his wife
It is also known that Milutin Mrkonjić remained on good terms with his wife Dragana Daša Mrkonjić until the end of his life. The media speculated whether Ana was bothered by such a relationship between the two ex-spouses, which she denied several times.
-It’s his wonderful trait and I absolutely don’t mind him having a nice relationship with her. Shouldn’t we learn a lesson from that? If he and I, God forbid, separated, he would take care of me like that – said Ana.
