Due to expensive trainings, preparations and insufficiently developed Paralympic winter sports in Serbia, in agreement with the leaders of the Paralympic Federation of Serbia, he decided to compete for the United States, where he still lives today, and played for the American national team at the 2014 Winter Paralympics. in Sochi and won ninth place and in Pyongyang in 2018, where he was twelfth.
Jasmin used his stay in his hometown, which he visits at least once a year, to announce his fourth Paralympic performance in February next year in Beijing, and he confirmed how much he is attached to his country on several occasions, when he sent skis for Serbian Paralympians and organized a competition. disabled on the Old Mountain.
– My family and relatives are here in Zrenjanin and I come often to visit them – says Jasmin, emphasizing that she adores her hometown. With his wife Sara and daughters, he loves to visit Zrenjanin, where he will spend a one-month vacation after Beijing.
Alpine skiing, as one of the most difficult disciplines for people with disabilities, has been practiced for 16 years. With his love for this sport, he spends most of his time fishing, which is his favorite hobby.
