– He was a modest but gallant guest. As an ordinary world, he did not have a special drink to order. He mostly drank water, and sometimes drank a glass of brandy or white wine.
He was a prankster. He always had some jokes of his own. The last time he was at lunch was two or three days before he went to the hospital – says Rade Radovanović for “Novosti”, who served Mrka in the capital’s restaurant “Careva cuprija” for more than 20 years.
– We were friends. Mrka was a gentleman in every sense. We were able to stay up late at night with music. He knew how to reward musicians and waiters with tips, but also to enter the kitchen and greet and honor the chefs – Milenko Milić, the owner of the restaurant, told “Novosti”.
