AFTER yesterday’s 20 degrees, the weather in Belgrade is noticeably colder as of today. But, the temperature is, explains meteorologist Djordje Đurić, actually appropriate for this time of year. What could surprise us, however, are the first snowflakes in the capital, and that, as Đurić says, tonight.

– Rain is expected tonight, and as the temperature will drop, during the night there will be conditions for snow to blow in the higher parts of the city. It is about the outskirts of Belgrade, which gravitates towards Avala, and there could be sleet and snow. However, these are parts of the city that are at a higher altitude. The rest of Belgrade will mostly be followed by light rain – Đurić announces.
The temperature will drop to zero by the next morning, but the precipitation will stop, so it will be dry but very cold with temperatures up to five degrees later in the day.
Đurić reminded that, for example, on Zlatibor and Nova Varoš, snow is blowing heavily, that it is expected to fall with certainty in Kosjerić and Užice, and that there is a possibility that it will blow in Jagodina and Loznica.
