The self-proclaimed Colonel-General Rahman Rama resigned from the position of “commander” of the so-called Kosovo Security Force, Index reports online.
The sources of the portal state that Rama resigned from the “Presidency”, and that his successor will be Baskim Jashari.
Baskim Jashari is the son of Rifat Jashari from Prekaz. He has the rank of “KSF general.”
Albanian media in Pristina recently reported that the procedure for Rama’s dismissal was initiated two months ago, after the conflict with the self-proclaimed Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj.
Disagreements between the “KSF commander” and the self-proclaimed Minister of Defense occurred on September 18, two nights before the so-called action. Kosovo police in the north removing Serbian license plates.
That evening, Mehaj ordered the “KBS” command to paint four American military armored vehicles “M1117 ASV” in blue, with the explanation that it would be used as support for the police action in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, which Rama categorically refused.
Such a practice, by the way, is not allowed within the agreement on the delivery of vehicles from the USA, which was later officially announced by Washington.
