THE PRESIDENT of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, congratulated his French colleague, Emanuel Macron, on his victory in the second round of the presidential elections.
– Dear Mr. President, dear friend Emanuel Macron, receive cordial congratulations on the re-election of the President of the French Republic. The trust that the citizens have shown you this time as well, undoubtedly confirms that your leadership is based on those principles and values that are deeply rooted in the people of France – Vučić wrote on Instagram.
The President of Serbia pointed out that freedom, equality and brotherhood are immutable and universal principles, the essence of which we should all be reminded of, especially in the current historical moment, perhaps more than ever before.
– Sharing precisely these values, Serbia remains committed to strengthening relations with France, which are based on traditional friendship and strategic partnership. With your re-election as president, I am convinced that Serbian-French relations are on a good path to reach new borders – wrote Vučić.
The President of Serbia emphasizes that France can count on Serbia as a sincere friend and partner, and he is convinced that our country can count on the support of France, in favor of peace and stability in the Western Balkans.
– I congratulate you once again on your election victory with the best wishes for the further progress of your country and the well-being of all its citizens – concluded Vučić.
