The session of the National Security Council is over, and Minister Nikola Selaković addressed the public.
– Serbia is in a very difficult situation, our country is exposed to terrible pressures, to accept the violation of the territorial integrity of our country, to accept the violation of international public law. A session of the National Security Council was held in Belgrade today, chaired by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
The sessions in the building of the General Secretariat of the President of the Republic were also attended by the Minister of Defense Nebojsa Stefanovic, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Selakovic, the Minister of Mining and Energy Zorana Mihajlovic, the President of the Assembly Ivica Dacic and other ministers …
The session was also attended by the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Army Milan Mojsilovic, BIA Director Bratislav Gasic.
The session was scheduled after Pristina’s decision to submit an official request for membership, the so-called Kosovo to the Council of Europe.
– It is up to us not to enter into hatred and psychosis of conflict, but to provide a strong response in an appropriate, rational and serious way – said Vučić on Thursday, when he announced the session of the Council, due to the request to join the Council of Europe they toppled another agreement they signed, and that is the Washington Agreement.
According to the president, in the coming weeks, Serbian officials will do their best to show that they can fight and protect their country.
