A session of the National Security Council, chaired by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, began in BELGRADE today.

The session is also attended by the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Army, Milan Mojsilovic, and the Director of the BIA, Bratislav Gasic.
The session was scheduled after Pristina’s decision to submit an official request for membership, the so-called Kosovo to the Council of Europe.
– It is up to us not to enter into hatred and psychosis of conflict, but to provide a strong response in an appropriate, rational and serious way – said Vučić on Thursday, when he announced the session of the Council, due to the request to join the Council of Europe they toppled another agreement they signed, and that is the Washington Agreement.
According to the president, in the coming weeks, Serbian officials will do their best to show that they can fight and protect their country.
