In the ASSEMBLY of Serbia, everything is ready for the constitutive session of the new convocation, where the mandates of the new deputies will be confirmed and the leadership of the parliament will be elected.
The Constitutive Session has begun
The Constitutive Session of the Assembly of Serbia has begun. The session is chaired by the oldest member of parliament – Vladeta Janković, from the “United for the Victory of Serbia” list.
Members of Parliament arrive at the House of the National Assembly of Serbia, members of the Serbian Armed Forces guard are standing on the staircase leading to the main entrance to the parliament, and the session will begin with the singing of the national anthem.
In the hall of the republican parliament, the deputies take the oath.
Before the start of the constitutive session, the current speaker of the parliament, Ivica Dačić, addressed the media.

According to the Rules of Procedure, the constitutive session will be chaired by the oldest deputy, in this case Vladeta Janković from the “United for the Victory of Serbia” list, while he will be assisted by the four youngest deputies, from the four top-ranked lists.
