The PRESIDENT of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, is attending today the ceremony on the occasion of the start of the construction of the Bijeljina-Rača highway section.
The ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. in Velika Obarska near Bijeljina, announced the Presidency of Serbia. The section Bijeljina – Rača in Republika Srpska is a continuation of the highway from Belgrade to Sarajevo.
Serbian member of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, previously announced that the 20-kilometer section of the highway from Bijeljina to Rača will be operational in two and a half to three years. As he said, the works are financed by the funds of the Government of the Republic of Srpska and what the Government of Serbia will provide.
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, previously announced that Serbia will provide 100 million euros for the construction of the highway section from Bijeljina to Rača. The Bijeljina-Rača highway will be continued to the new bridge on the Sava on the border with Serbia and the Kuzmin – Sremska Rača section of 18 kilometers in Serbia.
