THE PRESIDENT of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, said that “Serbia was exposed to an attack by irresponsible groups”, referring to the gay parade.
– You have seen individuals who think that they have the right to walk, and that no one else has the right, since they are probably normal, and these others are not. You also saw people who violated public morality. Persons who attacked the police will be held criminally responsible, as well as persons who violated public morals by removing their underpants and pants. Now, the country has found itself in an interregnum, where any decision you make will be supported by 80 percent of the people, and these 20 percent want to tear you apart. A senseless campaign was conducted for two months – said Vučić.
The president claims that it is nonsense that US ambassador Christopher Hill convinced him of anything.
– To those people I could call miserable liars, but my job prevents me from doing so. It’s all these so-called right-wingers, mostly with minimal education, they made up every word. I talked with Hill about important topics, about the KiM and the energy situation. And about solar panels, and about Đerdap 3. But we talked about KiM for the longest time, and only when we were finishing the conversation, I asked him what his activities were for that day. He told me that he was going to Pranjani, and he even said that he was going to talk about the Chetnik movement, which is interesting because no one used that term. And then he said that he has not yet made a decision whether he will go to the protest in front of the Constitutional Court. This is all.
