During his visit to New York for the UN General Assembly, the PRESIDENT of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, posted on social media a video of him playing basketball on a court in that city.
The video quickly became a hit, both because of the skill with the ball of the president of Serbia, and because of the enthusiasm of the people with whom he was photographed. More than half a million people have seen Vučić’s video on the “Novosti” TikTok account.
See how it looked in the attached video:
The President of Serbia explained in a post on Instagram how this video was created:
– In a quick walk to the UN building, I learned new things about individual training for basketball players. Their kindness is incredible, even though their training was interrupted by a stranger.
And the speech of the President of Serbia caused enormous attention of the Internet population. His message about the importance of adhering to the UN Charter and respecting territorial integrity is the first in terms of views on the UN YouTube channel, compared to the number of inhabitants.
This is visible on the YouTube “trending” section, where it is shown what is viewed the most at the moment, is growing the fastest and has the most views – and that is precisely Vučić’s speech.
As can be seen, Vučić’s speech was viewed by 103 thousand people. In front of him is the speech of Joseph Biden, while the speech of the Ukrainian president, by comparison, was watched by three times less people.
So, in terms of absolute numbers, ahead of Vučić are American President Joe Biden and Philippine President Bongbong Marcos, but their countries have a much larger population than Serbia.
