AMBASSADOR of China in Belgrade Chen Bo, addressing the guests at the reception on the occasion of the National Day of the People’s Republic of China, expressed China’s readiness to make efforts together with Serbian friends to continuously strengthen mutual steel friendship.
Chen Bo pointed out that China and Serbia can and will set an example for the whole world for mutual respect and cooperation.
According to her, despite the complex international situation, and thanks to the leadership and commitment of the heads of the two countries, relations between China and Serbia have maintained a high level of development.
– The two sides firmly support each other in preserving national sovereignty and territorial integrity and work together to protect the international system in the UN based on international law – the Chinese ambassador reminded.
As he says, economic cooperation is also of great importance, which is steadily increasing.
She stated that China has become one of the most important investors in Serbia, as well as that Chinese companies are the biggest exporters from our country, and that more than 20,000 people are employed in Chinese companies in Serbia.
Speaking about today’s Chinese national holiday, Chen Bo pointed out that under the leadership of the Communist Party, China has maintained rapid economic development and long-term social stability, and added that China has built a prosperous society in every respect.
– We have embarked on a new path of comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country – she said.
The Chinese ambassador reminds that China presented the Belt and Road Initiative, promoted the construction of a new type of international relations with a focus on win-win cooperation.
– With Chinese wisdom and solutions, we continuously contribute to peace, stability and development in the world – said Chen Bo.
China will continue to follow its own development path, said Chen Bo, adding that she believes that a stable and prosperous China will bring more certainty to today’s uncertain world and provide new opportunities.
She thanked the dignitaries present for coming to celebrate today together and added that due to the epidemiological situation, they did not invite more people to the reception.
She ended her address with exclamations “Long live China!” Long live Serbia! Long live steel friendship!”.
