The PEOPLE and the leadership in Republika Srpska will always be able to count on Serbia and will have someone to rely on.
These are the main messages of encouragement with which the Serbian member of the Presidency Željka Cvijanović and the President of the RS Milorad Dodik are leaving Belgrade.
Cvijanović, the first man of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and Dodik held a meeting at Andrićev venc, where the head of state wished the newly elected RS leadership success in their work, while they thanked him for fruitful cooperation in the previous period and exchanged information about the situation in the region.
– We jointly reviewed the political situation, additionally agreed on positions that are mostly almost unique between Serbia and the RS. We talked about the problems that exist in the region. I met Cvijanović and Dodik with the situation in Kosovo and Metohija – said Vučić.
Dodik said that the international factor is putting additional pressure on Srpska and Serbia in order to impose its solutions, and he said that he met Vučić and pointed out that in the first week of December, a new Government of Srpska should be formed, and after that a joint session of the cabinet should be held. RS and Serbia:
– We will work on the greatest value integration of the RS and Serbia through various programs, we are doing what one nation should do and that should not worry anyone. We understand that Serbia stands behind “Dayton” and supports the territorial integrity of BiH, but the president (Vučić) knows that RS is threatened by the population of its rights in BiH by taking away more than 60 jurisdictions and that, if BiH does not return to the positions of “Dayton” and Constitution, we see no reason to contribute to its anti-constitutional path.
Dodik also pointed out that the RS is ready to support BiH’s European path, but not the path to NATO.
He pointed out that political Sarajevo is blocking infrastructure projects such as the Buk-Bijela power plant, the Trebinje airport, as well as the gas pipeline to Banja Luka, and that there are no decisions in the FBiH regarding the joint Belgrade-Sarajevo highway project.
Cvijanović said that she wants to get out of the phase of quarrelsome relations in Bosnia and Herzegovina:
– From the point of view of the new position, I would like to contribute to the changes – to make the relations between BiH and Serbia better, to understand each other better, but that also depends on others, not only on me.
MONEY FOR THE LOWER GARDEN
VUCIĆ said that it was agreed that this week a team will be formed, which will consist of representatives of the RS and Serbia, for the construction of the Donja Gradina memorial complex:
– We are ready to invest tens of millions of euros, 80 percent of the necessary funds, because we consider it one of the most important things that should be done on the territory of the RS.
